Speakers Bios(in alphabetical order) Marian Banker, MBA, is a Business Leadership Coach and President of Prime Strategies, founded in 1996. Her background includes many years as executive, entrepreneur and professional. For the past 10 years she has provided the small business community with coaching, consulting and training in business leadership skills for the entrepreneur.
In 2002 she introduced the Lunchtime Telephone Roundtable, a virtual meeting place for small business leaders to learn from each other. In 2004, she initiated the Brain Exchange Roundtable. an in-person small group forum for exchange of expertise, ideas, and resources.
Marian has provided targeted training and workshops in academic, professional and corporate settings for such sponsors as AT&T, AWED, McGraw-Hill, Citibank, Fleet Bank, Melard Technologies, Hunter College, Webgrrls and others.
She was featured Business Coach on ABC’s World News This Morning and Channel 12 News New Jersey. Since 1999 she has published Small Business Leader, a monthly e-newsletter designed to be an easy and informal read for today’s business owner. She has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal and numerous small business publications. Harry Brelsford is a Seattle-based author, consultant, technology trainer and the founder of SMB Nation. His 12 technology books focus primarily on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (SBS) and other small-medium business (SMB) technology topics. He holds multiple certifications (MCSE, MCT) as well as an MBA. Charles Hand is president of the New York metro region for Verizon Wireless. He is responsible for sales, marketing, customer service, retail stores and expansion of the company’s advanced wireless communications network in 21 New York and northern New Jersey counties, including Long Island and New York City’s five boroughs. Recently, the New York metro market was named the leader in overall customer satisfaction among wireless users for the third consecutive year according to the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates 2000 U.S. Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study sm. Hand has been president of Bell Atlantic Mobile’s New York metro region, vice president of retail sales and operations in the New York metro area and vice president of customer service in northern New Jersey and Philadelphia. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the largest Rental Car Company in the United States. They have been recognized as the leader in Customer Satisfaction for five out of the last 6 years by J.D.
